We had some fun at Panera Bread co. in Chicago IL.

A yummy lunch after a trip to Ikea! We've never been to Ikea before and couldn't believe how cool it was! Ended up finding lots of cool stuff for Alton, :)

Alton IL

Good news! we are moving to Alton IL, to attend college at Southern University of Edwardsville. Silas is going for Dentistry and Emilie is for Psychology. We are so excited and got a condo in Alton! Next up picking out furniture... we have been looking at stuff from ikea and wanted a nice clean look, something perfect for "calm of mind" for studying. We are thinking the majority being white furniture with wood accents..as my mom says "french country theme" haha..Any ideas?

Dodge Ball Time!

Silas played in a Dodge Ball tournament on Saturday and I must say it was really exciting! Their shirts said "Aim Low" with an arrow pointing "to the ground" which some people took offense to so they had to cover it up. Thats for trying to get a laugh.. haha

Rainy Days

What a rainy day today...
Trying to figure out the perfect rain boot. College campus' is the worst place to be on rainy days. So far the conclusion is L.L. Bean boots. I read a bunch of really good reviews on them.. hopefully I'll be able to find a good pair soon, rain is scheduled for many days ahead!
